Hi,

It's pretty common, and while there's no precise cause the fix is nearly
always the same.

I downloaded the patch, followed the instructions. There are 3 files, one is
a read me first which I did. It gives instruction on how to open the edit
registry in notepad for security reasons instead of automatically merging the
file into the registry. I thought I did exactly what it said but with much
frustration and many hours trying to figure this whole thing out, I either
didn't install completely or it didn't work. My error code is different than
all of the others I've read about. It say's "Cannot initialize
the device driver for this hardware - code 37". I'm running a Dell Dim
3000, XP PROF SP2. "My computer" doesn't even show the drives any more.
HELP!!
