windows ME to windows XP

i just upgraded my computer from windows millennium
edition to windows xp and now my computer constantly
freezes. and when i say constantly i mean at least 6
times per day. all i have to do to fix it is press
control-alt-delete. but why is this happening and how can
i fix this? any help is appreciated.

When you press control-alt-del, see what shows up in the Task Manager Apps.
It may be a Program that worked fine
in WinMe but is having problems in WinXP.
