I've used Drive Image Pro 7 to do a complete backup and
restore. I had problems with it, though. On the restore
(actually in the backup) some of the Windows files were
corrupt and after the restore the system would not
start. I had to "repair" Windows using the install CD,
but all seemed ok after that.

I'm playing with the built-in Windows Backup (mainly
Automated System Restore). I haven't actually restored
yet so no verdict. I'm actually going to try and restore
a backup to a different drive configuration and I'm not
sure that will work.

I'm worried that none of the backup software works as advertised. I wonder
if anyone has had success a particular program.
