Is there a way to move your mouse from one monitor to the next in both
directions without hitting any stops?

Needs to be the same resolution defined on both.

I don't think so. I have two monitors here, each with a different
resolution, and I don't hit any stops going between them.

Try down at the very bottom or top. Yes, it does happen.

Yes the resolutions are the same. I can mouse over to the other screen, from
right to left, but not from left to right.

OK. There's a very small band at the top of the larger monitor where there's
no correspong part of the other, and it does happen there.

That's so slight an effect, though, that I didn't notice it until you
pointed it out.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but it works for me using my laptop beside my desktop.
