when I Installed Windows XP SP2 On my new PC, the first time I logged on, the
names of the local hard drives appeared blue in My Computer. What DOes this
mean, and what is the sollution to such a problem?

dont panic, it sound like you are using compressed files on your pc, and so
you can tell this it changes the colour of the fonts, see the link for more
help.....pete ;-)

Is it File/Folder compression or a carry-over of Active Desktop ?
