Personally I'd try backing up what programs you might
need to a seperate drive (zip drive, d:, etc) reformat &
reinstall. But then I'd probably have the bad luck of
loosing my instalation disks while i was reformatting...
if you do do something that drastic however, I'd print
out plenty of instructions first on how to format the
hard drive, and get it running again.
