Cancelling newsgroup messages hardly ever does much good. The problem is
that messages are propagated to many servers all over the world. Even if you
succeed in cancelling the message on the server you use, it's very likely
already been propagated to lots of others where you have no control over
them.

Sorry for that, but I don't know how to cancel a message.

I normally use xananews for reading/ posting to ngs.

if not out of scope for this ng, please do give me a quick tip how to
cancel my own message.
