I recently acquired a version of Windows XP: Windows Media Center 2005 and am
a little weary on installing it. I have an Xbox 360 so I am very eager to use
the Media Center with it, but i'm not familiar with this product. So I guess
I have two main questions, what are your opinions on this OS and also if i
make a restore point on my current version of windows XP home, would it be
possible to revert to it after I install the new version of windows?
Thanks in advance

There is no advantage to installing Windows Media
Center if your computer does not have the hardware
necessary to support its unique features. It can only be
installed "clean" on a reformatted drive or partition.
