I am running XP Home Edition and my PC is running very slow.
I have a Dell L800R Pentium 3 maxed out on memory at 512.
I have tried all kinds of free programs to determine what might be causing
my problem but no luck in sight!!!
Can anybody possibly help me with this problem or should i consider buying a
new PC when they hit the market this summer???
Please help me ASAP!!!!

Thanks, DL

You've probably done it all already, but try:
*Defragging
*Scandisk
*Searching for spyware

Hope it helps

and programs that automatically start-up that you don't use. Click Start -
Run MSCONFIG - startup tab.
