CANT CLOSE WEB PAGES

I have a new computer, when i get on internet explore, or
msn and try to browse ,or when i get e mail and click on
a place where it takes me to a web page. I cant close it,
I click on the x button and it wont close. If i click on
the- botton and it goes to the tool bar i try right
clicking and go to close but it still wont close.The only
way to close them is shut the computer off. Can anyone
tell me what to do to fix this?

Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, go to the processes tab, right click on the
iexplore.exe and select End Process. This should do it... If you have
multiple iexplore.exe you just have to select the right one ;)

add: you get to the correct process by selecting the correct IE on the
Applications tab and right clicking on it and selecting Go to Process
