We just installed service Pack 1 on an XP Professional
system. Now it won't boot. It gets to Windows, then blue
screens with Stop Error 000000021a (not sure about the
number of 0's) It then reboots and does the same thing
again over and over and over and over and.... until I shut
it off.
I tried to boot from the CD, but windows won't acknowledge
the keyboard commands (although the BIOS setup accepts
keyboard commands). The system is a dual boot system and
boots fine from NT, with Service Pack 6.
I can't request on-line help from Microsoft, since I can't
get the Product ID number (silly me, I don't have it
written down). Does anybody know what I can do?
Fortunately, I can check email on a different system.
Thanks for your help
