hello. I need help. Every time I log on the computer, an
error message pops up:

System not shut down correctly.
Please choose a choice:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode and Netwoking
Safe Mode in MS-DOS
Windows Xp restore to Most recent working process
Normal Mode

I click normal mode, but then all I see is a black screen
with nothing on it.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need it by August 5th!
Thank you
