I have an XP Pro machine that just went through a Repair Install to fix a
Winsock and TCP/IP problem. That worked fine, but after installing SP2, I get
a message during the logon phase saying "The local policy of this system does
not permit you to logon interactively". I've flipped through the other
related articles on this site and others and they all seem to relate to
domain issues. This computer was never set up a part of a domain, so I don't
know why/how this is happening. As it stands, I cannot access the system with
any of the accounts and therefore cannot alter the security policies.
