I have (had) an intermittent problem whereby XP crashes with a corrupt registry problem. I read it could be a device driver which needs upgrading. However if I try start Device Manager to see lwhat drivers are installed this causes the crash straight away. Has anybody experienced this before or know how to circumvent device manager? thanks

Probably better off posting this in a purely xp group rather than the video
one.

Thanks _ I'll do that. Just saw this branch had drivers and I'm sure it's something to do with a corrupt one
