Has anyone experience how to work with the panasonic camcorder DS27 and WinXP
64? I'm working on AMD Athlon X2 4400+ Machine. The camcorder is connected
via Firewire. When turning the camera on it is recognized as "Panasonic
Vendor Specific Subunit" - so to say "Unknown". The "AV/C Subunit" isn't
properly installed.

Yes it does. The hardware is working fine with Windows2000.

In which case check out this page, but if it's a PAL unit you may not be
able to get any help until Vista is released,a s some PAL panaonics have got
a problem which doesn't look like it will get an XP fix just yet. Try the
fixes, as some have worked.
