Windows Restore Point.

For the 1st time since upgrading Windows XP Home Ed. to
Windows XP Prof in mid July I needed to get back to an
earlier sytem set up. I tried System Restore and it
cycles thru the steps and then reports Could Not restore.
I tried 3 older restore points and the results were
unsuccessful. Help....
