I upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP. No problem.
Then I updated my windows. After installing all the
updates, now when I turn on the computer, it hangs up for
a while, and the music sounds like a broken record. It
eventually loads everything, but my mouse/pointer works
very poorly. I looked at the Windows Task Manager and
noticed that the "taskmgr.exe" had loaded about 10
times. I've tried a few things to fix it, but the only
thing that works is restarting the computer and then
everything loads and works fine.
