windows problem

Hi, thanks for reading this. I've been having a problem
with my windows; some options when i click on them do not
open. For example, it won't open da Desktop Properties,
the Clock, and the Add/Remove Programs...as well as some
others. If there is a solution please respond.

Expound on "do not open". Do you receive any errors, or does it simply just
do nothing? More information is required for an accurate diagnosis.
