Hi all,

Just a quick question.
Does anyone know how to reinstall Windows Messenger 4.7 from the Windows XP
x64 CD-ROM.

I tried to install Windows Messenger 5.1from the MS Download Centre and
it's stuffed up 4.7.

I'm not not able to revert back. I have not tried Sys Restore just yet but
wondering what else to try if this fails.

thanks

Greetings Steven,

You shouldn't have to. The Windows Messenger 4.7 included with x64 is simply the Win32
version. Which you can grab here:

To remove 5.1, simply run the installer again and choose Remove.
