hi -
My Hotmail account has been receiving spam (from open proxies) that link an
MSN Messenger/Hotmail account. For example, one is:
I've tried to send abuse reports without luck. and
send back automated responses saying that the spam didn't
come from Hotmail mail servers
Finally, I created a throwaway passport account and tried to contact this
Hotmail account, in order to trace who was sending this garbage
Turns out that the spammer has set up an MSN chat bot which spews out a
bunch of garbage, and then a link to a web page
For example, natalie69.slickcams.com
This is a known spammer site. (You can Google for "flyingcroc.net" on NANAE
for example - there's complaints about this group since 2004)
Again, I can't get a support desk at MSN/Microsoft to respond to any
complaints. The MSN/Hotmail accounts set up by the spammer continue to
operate.
This is obviously a violation of the MSN terms of service
Where do I report this?
