When I right click on my dvd-cd drive and select properties it allways says
disc full, even though I know it is half empty, basically it will not read my
disc, though it is burning ok but I never know how much space is left on the
disc, thanks John

That's not usually something Windows will recognize, but your third party
burning software should be able to tell you.
