Windows Live Messenger

This will sound REALLY weird, but just the other day while using Windows Live
Messenger, my keyboard started inputting incorrect characters. 2 so far that
I know of. ? would show up as É, and " would show up as ``. Does any one
know how this could be fixed?? It ONLY does this on Messenger. My keyboard
and language settings are all set to default english. no other programs do
this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you must have changed ur messenger font select font and change it this shd
fix it.

If I restart messenger that problem goes away, but I would not like to have
to do that every time there is any errors...I also noticed that on some
peoples display names do not update. I noticed this when I hold the mouse
over them on the contact list and their full info is shown in the yellow box,
that has the updated info, again it is corrected when i restart messenger
which has become an annoying habit lately.
