if 'ntfs file sys' - it req's 'chkdsk /r - and
if you use win xp's gui tool/graphic user interface/
it will automatically convert it - ie
go start/right click on - my computer/open/
go right click on - local hdd/properties/tools/
go error checking - section/
go check now/click on - both options on dialog box/
go click on - start/
yes - to reboot now/
reboot/
2/
for chkdsk.exe/checkdisk - results/
go start/control panel/perf...and maint/admin tools/
go event viewer/application log/
go scroll to - winlogon/open/
and
take it fr there
