I just got XP Pro and use it at home mostly for my own enjoyment. I upgraded
from Win 98 which had no password requirements. How can I set XP Pro to
start without asking for a password? THnaks.

Download and install TweakUI:
Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp
After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Expand "Logon", click on "Autologon" and place a check
next to "Log on automatically at system startup", then click "apply".
