DIRECTX problem

I have windows xp, with an Creativelabs Riva tnt 2 value graphics card.
Drivers are up to date. I tried to install directx 9 on my computer but i
keep getting this error. The software you are installing has not passed
Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibilty with Windows XP. Then it
says my software will not be install. THis file comes straight from
Microsofts web page. Whats the deal?

Hi,

Go to Start/Run and type in CMD. At the command prompt, type the following
commands, pressing ENTER after each line:

net stop cryptsvc
ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 oldcatroot2
net start cryptsvc

Then try the install again.

I got an error it says system error 1058. Then tried to install anyways and
no luck.

I got an error it says system error 1058. Then tried to install anyways and

I fixed the problem i had the crypt service disabled thanks anyways
