Every 3 or 4 times upon startup my computer locks up, and
I have to turn it off, and then back on again. Once it
took 3 startups before it would respond. I am a fairly
new computer user, older lady, and not too computer
literate. Can anyone tell me why it does this, and how
to fix it, without getting too technical? Thanks, jean

Without getting too technical, do you get any error messages on the screen
when it locks up and how old is your computer? It could be a hardware
problem. Power Supply or Ram Memory getting flaky.

I am having the same problem. I am old and VERY computer
literate. I hate when this happens, it could be anything.
If this is a new for your computer, try to remember
anything you've done to it since it stopped working
correctly. I have done a million things and won't undo
them all. Good Luck.
