Obsolete drivers

Is it possible to remove obsolete or not compatible
drivers installed in my pc? I already uninstalled the
software but the drivers remains in the system. My os is
WindowsXP home editon. If it is possible could you please
tell me how? I appreciate it so much if you could help me
on this.
