100% CPU on XP

Running Outlook 2000 in XP, CPU use rises to 95-100% a
few seconds after send/receive and never drops down again.

This started after a recent windows update - any ideas?

Pete,

Remove the update via Add/Remove programs or, if it isn't in the list, use
System Restore.
