Nero Ultra Vs 7
It is on sale for $20 after rebate. Is it worth that as a DVD authoring
tool? Or, what is better to author DVD movies?
Thanks!

it is just a burning tool and not the authoring tool.i.e if u want to burn
video dvd u'll have to make all the chapters and menus yourself and then
nero will burn it.whereas other dvd authoring tools as sonic scenarist
covert the files themself and provide a great deal of flexibility in
creating chapters, menus etc. but if u need just for taking backup of data
then it is ok

Not true...Nero Ultra 7 comes with a video editing module called Vision. It
is about on the same level as Windows Movie Maker (but with more quirks).
Some people even like it better...it has more transitions and the menu maker
is easier and more powerful, IMO.

Nero has the same authoring capabilities as does scenarist...It allows you
to make chapters, menus etc.
Nero is worth every penny of it's original price...so yes it is a very good
deal at $20.
