Safe mode

Is there anyone who can tell me how to start XP in safe
mode. I can't figure it out. "help and support" did not
help either.

Hit F8 at boot to access the boot options.

A wee bit of split second timing may be required unfortunately.

To get into safe mode restart the machine. While the BIOS is POSTing start
hitting the F8 key. Do not press and hold. Just keep tapping it. If you hit
it at the correct time, the system will display the boot menu and you can
then select safe mode, etc.
