I am trying to put together a Video system for my disabled nephew. He is
stricken with MS and works part time as a Radio DJ and other times as a
Mobile DJ. He is doing a charity event for a local festival.

He has a professional DJ system that he uses to do audio and video mixing.
When his system is playing a music video it is displayed on a secondary
monitor. When he is only playing audio the secondary monitor is blank.

I have written some specialized software that runs on it's own server and
displays licensed Visualizations, Live crowd shots, Participant photo's and
other video effects on 2 50" LCD monitors. Both monitors display different
images. I am now trying to find a way to connect my nephew's Video output to
one of the monitors when he is playing a music video. He has 'Video Out',
S-Video and VGA outputs available. We would like to do a transition as
opposed to a on/off Video switch.

The ultimate goal would be to bring his Output into my system, let my system
do the transition/fade when needed and then send it out one of my VGA ports.

We are on a tight budget so high end video switchers are not realistic.
If anyone has any insight on how this might work please advise.

The name I gave IS the location...
it should be on your ISP's news
server, it isn't a Microsoft group.
