Offline Printer

Just installed a new HP deskjet 3930 and print jobs are not going to the
print que, it states the status of the printer is offline. All cables are
connected. What else can I check?

It might be 'driver' problem, because I had once in the past.

In my case, luckily I found the driver for my HP. However, I can not recall
how I found and did it..

In my suggestion, try to connect 'HP Chat' that has 'live chat' in which
professiona,
couterous and friendly folks are eager to help any problems you have.

Accessing the HP Chat/Live, ... as follow:
Go to HP web site < HP customer support < type: name of printer along with
problem,
and then you can see several menues. In the middle part of menues, there is
'HP Chat'
and you'll be connected within a few seconds.

Right click on the printer icon and make sure the Use Printer Offline is not
checked.
