msn messenger slows computer

Hi all,

When I use msn msgr 7, and I try to open a folder (even a small one)it
takes forevvvvverrrr! Anyone have any suggestions? I added more memory,
and have many of the features disabled. With other programs I use I have
no problems with this, only with msgr.
