Will AVI and MPEG burn to DVD? I tried to burn the MPEG to DVD with Nero 6
but got an error, no message. What do I need to do to get the MPEG file to
burn?

Nero Express should burn them to DVD.

In theory Mpeg will burn to DVD using Nero 6, but for AVI I think you might
need to upgrade to Nero7. NeroVision4 (part of Nero 7) will allow you to
write AVI to DVD - I can't remember if Nero 6 will allow this.

I say in theory, because I've been trying to do just this for some time, and
my computer keeps freezing - I suspect there might be a conflict with Service
Pack 2 for windows XP, but you might be OK. If you're on broadband you could
try downloading the demo version of Nero7 from their website and see if it
works. Be careful Nero7 will uninstall nero 6, and if you haven't got your
product key and disc for nero 6 you won't be able to reinstall it.

Your error message might be related to the burn speed option for your DVD
recorder - try burning at a slower speed in Nero - its probaby set at write
speed: maximum.
