I just installed my Epson Stylus 660 and I get blue lines across the page, no
matter what I print. I used the XP driver and I also tried the driver from
the Epson website, but they both do the same thing. When I disconnect the
printer and run the printer diagnostic, it prints fine. When I reconnect to
the computer, I get the blue lines (like a piece of lined tablet paper)
across anything I print from any program.

I tried removing and reinstalling the drivers, printers, and ports, but
nothing worked. My other printers work fine.

Did you run a printhead cleaning cycle... ? An alignment cycle?

Cari,

Yes, I did run the cleaning and alignment cycles. When I disconnect the
printer from the computer and push the start and clean button it prints a
normal test pattern with no lines. When it is connected to the computer it
prints blue lines, like on a piece of ruled paper. I've tried deleting
everything, rebooting and reinstalling, but I still have the blue lines.
