I hav an external USB drive whose poperties say it is FAT32. I plan to
move some data files from an internal drive to it. The internal's
properties says NTFS. Is there anything I must do first-before moving files?

Nope. It's like moving yourself from a bus to a car: The seats are laid out
differently, but you haven't changed.

The only problem I see is if the file from the NTFS drive is greater than 4
gigabytes less one byte when transferring to a FAT32 drive.
