blank web window

Many times when I click on a link the next screen is blank but has the
correct address in the address bar and the status bar says 'done'.

When I click on the refresh icon, sometimes but not always, the correct
screen is displayed.

What setting are causing this?

This solution could help:

Quit all running programs.
Select Start, and then click Run.
Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message,
click OK.
