View Full Version : hard drive runs for no reason

I have home xp on a compaq lap top. Regularly the hard
drive seems to run for @ 5 min. this happens if the
computer is idle or not. Restore is shut off. Is there
anything that I can shut off to prevent the hard drive
from running, why is it running?
