I read up on how to set this up and it looks like there are numerous things
that seemed vague to me. I figured the best approach would be to go ahead
and set one up and get the kinks out as i go. I tried to connect and got the
following:
Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the remote
host name could not be resolved. Please try again.
I looked out here and saw references to having the two computers on the same
domains. This makes no sense.
I have seen references to Group Policy Editor, but this is not installed on
the hosting PC (Xp Home).
Is it possible to connect a Win XP Pro on a different WAN to a Win XP Home
PC or any other combination Windows XP PCs?
I think this is a good product, if it can be set up ...
