LZ32.DLL

I keep getting this error on a Windows XP Pro box that I have, i cant double
click on any .EXE or installer without getting this message:

LZ32.DLL is not a valid image. Check this against your installation disk.

Rememeber this is no matter what .exe on the PC i click i get this,
rebooting does nothing and when this error happens i can go no further.

HELPPPP!
