dowloaded msn messenger but cant install bc of a bootstrap error

i dowloaded msn messenger 7.5 nd i saved it on my desktop. When i try to
instal it installs to 100% but then it stops nd says cannot dowload because
of bootsrtap error.exe .how do i fix this?
