to many methods to fire event

I'm trying tu use Windows Movie Maker with my JVC digital video camera. When
I try to capture I the the message "An interface has too many methods to fire
events from" I thought I previously able to use this, but now it does not
seem to work. What does this mean and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Stop using a USB cable and start using firewire (aka iLink, aka IEE1394).
