I switched from dial up to cable. when i try to use internet explorer now it
won't connect. The connection works and is sending information, however if I
click the repair on the the network connection I get a message saying ARP
cache cannot be cleared. I then used a command prompt to clear the arp cache
but it still won't connect. I can connect if I turn on and disable my artera
vertual broadband accelerator I used to use with my dial up. I also tried
removing this program and could not connect at all until I reinstalled and
disabled it. Anyone have any suggestions. Please.

Have you contacted the makers of the artera program for help?

Yep, but they wouldn't help me because I purchased it through my dial up
server who doesn't want to help because now I have cable.

yep they won't help me because I purchased the program through my dialup
provider, who also won't help me.
