Dale,
This is an easy problem to solve. Windows reserves slashes for filenames,
but it will allow other spedcial characters. I use Underscores, but you can
also use a dash, period, "equal to" sign, or other characters. If Windows
doesn't like it, it will let you know.

You can name the folder "02_05_06" or something similar. that way, Windows
treats it as characters rather than numbers.

Using my own personal naming convention, when I create filenames or folders
that require a date to be used as the filename, I use the last 2 digits of
the year first, followed by the month and date. An example using today's
date: "06_04_02". This way they will appear sorted by year when you browse
through the folders or files.

Take care.
