In the past, when shutting down my firewall (latest version of Zone Alarm
Pro), I would get an alert from Windows Security Center telling my my
computer may be at risk and the 'red shield' would appear in the Systray.
This no longer happens. I have checked all my settings, nothing has been
changed. I did dl'd a new version of ZAP recently, however, installed as an
'upgrade' to maintain the settings. I do not know if the cessation of
alerts correspond with that update, but, it is possible. Any ideas???
Thanks in advance to all who respond.
Heirloom, old and hate it when I can't
figure it out

Check that the setting in security center is selected to alert because of
your firewall setting.
