XP includes ???????

Currently have Win98SE installed.

Also have
Matrox Millenium G400 Dual Head (for dual monitors)
Zone Alarm Free (firewall)
SMC EZ Card 10/100 PCI Network Card (for ADSL connection)

If I buy XP Pro none of these would be required because XP Pro operating
system includes stuff that will do the same job as these.

Correct or incorrect?

Everything you mentioned you either wouldn't want to get rid of or couldn't
without replacing it otherwise.

Well, You still need your Video card and if you want to do Dual Monitors,
you will still need that card, another with dual capabilities or two video
cards..

Although Windows XP comes with a firewall, it only blocks(keeps track of)
incoming traffic. For outgoing protection, you would want something like
Zone Alarm.

Well, unless you hook into your DSL connection using USB or something, you
will still need your Network Card. After all, hardware is what Windows XP
helps you USE.

Who (which drunken monkey?) gave you the idea that Windows XP would replace
hardware? heh
