Hi, I have suspicion that someone was on my laptop. Does windows XP have a
log file that shows when, like date and time, the computer was used?

Look under administrative tools, event viewer. This will give you an idea of
when you machine has been active (though not which programs have been used).

There will be an administrative tools applet in control panel, unless you
have chosen to place this on your start menu.

If you really don't want anyone on your machine, then password protect it,
as well as the Administrator account, which by default under XP Home is not
password protected.

You could probably use the security log, but I am not sure how to configure
this. (research)
