If it were only that easy...

Since you don't have any original drivers, make a list of your PC's hardware and download all of the latest drivers to a Flash drive or CD. This way you'll have them incase your network/modem isn't installed when Windows reinstalls. If you have an OEM system, head to their site to get these drivers since they should all be in one place.

Once you do that, make sure to backup anything you want to keep.

From there, you'll need to configure your system to boot from CD. You should be able to google how to pull this off.

Once you boot from CD and start Windows installation, remove all of the partitions on your drive using the Windows Setup and then install doing a full format. This will completely reset your drive. Doing a quick format only "erases" the info, but it'll still be there and could be picked up by Windows when it scans for old files/settings.
