Careful updating the BIOS..

Anyway..

Open My Computer or Windows Explorer (whichever one you like best..)
Put in the non-write protected 1.44MB HD floppy diskette into your floppy
diskette driver (usually A:)
Looking through My Computer or Windows Explorer, locate your floppy disk
drive.
Right click on said Floppy Disk Drive icon..
Choose "Format"..
When the "Format 3 1/2 Floppy" window comes up, look near the bottom for the
"Create an MS-DOS startup disk" and check the box.
Click on Start.

Another way to have found this info:

Start -> Help and Support -> search for "create boot floppy"
It brings up a Full-text Search match of:

"Create an MS-DOS startup disk"

To create an MS-DOS startup disk
The MS-DOS startup disk you create will allow you to boot into MS-DOS.

1. Insert a floppy disk into your computer's floppy drive.
2. Open My Computer, and then click the floppy disk drive to select it.
3. On the File menu, point to the name of the floppy drive, and then click
Format.
4. Under Format options, click Create an MS-DOS startup disk.
5. Click Start.

Important

Creating an MS-DOS startup disk erases all information on the floppy disk.
Notes

To open My Computer, double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
The MS-DOS startup disk only allows the system to boot into an MS-DOS
prompt. The disk contains no additional tools.

Also - you could have searched using GOOGLE. You might have found sites
such as www.bootdisk.com, where you could download a boot floppy diskette of
your choice.
