I use Windows XP Clients service pack 2
Running on them is a Poster Jet RIP software what I need to know is the
allowable (if any) amount of clients that can print per client machine?
Example do five clients print to the windows xp machine that has the RIP
software and than the 6th client have to wait for a free connection?

XP Home has a limitation of 5 simultaneous connections, XP`Pro (including
the supersets of XP Tablet and XP Media Center) has a limitation of 10.
Windows 2000 SBS has a limitation of 49, Windows 2003 SBS has a limitation
of 74, any Windows Server O/S has no limitation.
